Alan Harrison achieved record results as Head of Computing and Digital Strategy at William Hulme’s Grammar School in central Manchester. A Computer Science graduate, Alan worked in Information Technology including operations, programming and information security before pivoting to teaching. He holds an NPQML, the NCCE Teach Secondary certificate and a Master’s in Education.

Alan now provides consultancy through hpro.uk, and also works as a freelance Senior Professional Development Leader for the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE), a content creator for Craig’n’Dave (see picture), a tutor for the Pioneers Partnerships SCITT in Manchester, an associate lecturer on degree apprenticeships for Ada College and a visiting tutor in computing education at Manchester Met.

Nicola Harrison is a highly capable business transformation manager and IT strategist. She has worked for KPMG, PwC and independent consultants, and directly for several public and private sector companies, always adding value to their business processes and IT services.

Nicola and Alan are married with two grown-up children and live in Greater Manchester, UK.
